I was struggling to regain peace in my spirit. I prayed and received some words from the Lord. I heard in my spirit "whatsoever things are...lovely...". from Phil 4:8 I looked them up and read them in context. I learned there was a promise in the very next verse. Phil 4:9
Philippians 4:8-9 KJV
8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
9Â Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
When we go to God with our struggles He restores our peace, the peace that passes understanding. Shalom!
